I was going to try and post everyday, well that didn't last very long. LOL - Don't know what I was thinking. :) Anyway here are a couple of things we've been up to.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For Saige's birthday we had an Icarly party. Well, if you watch Icarly you know about Spencer's great spaghetti tacos. :) So we had to have the at the party. All the kids thought that was really fun. The other night we have spaghetti for dinner and Saige gets out the taco shells. I don't think she will eat regular spaghetti again. :) She says these are yummy!
This crazy dog loves the water!

So Jason is sitting in the living room and he starts walking around saying "Did you hear that?" Then he looks in the backyard and then he goes out front and looks around. It was a pretty loud noise. I was in the computer room and could hear it. Well, Jason doesn't find anything. Later, I was putting things in the fridge and there is a cap to one of the tubes of biscuits laying on a shelf. One of the packages of Grands biscuits had blown up and sent the cap flying in the fridge. I have had a few of them explode lately and I don't know why. Not one of them has ever made that kind of a noise.

Saige had a cheer thing today up at 51st and Union Hills. I thought it started at 12:00, we get there and figured out it started at 2:00. I wasn't going to go all the way back home just to turn around and go back, so Saige and I went to lunch. I gave her a few choices and she chose Subway. She loves that place. :) OK, so we eat and go back to go to the cheer orientation. I really enjoyed spending today with Saige. It's not too often it is just her and I together for the day. I did end up taking her to a few stores to coupon shop with me, and she hates that, but other than that we had a good time. Oh, and I found my perfect intersection today. A Sonic, with a CVS right next to it.
You are probably wondering what the picture has to do with anything. We had to stop for gas and I have been trying to pay for everything with cash lately. If I don't have the cash, we don't need it. :) So, I ask Saige if she wants to give the lady the money and she says "Why do we have to pay for it this time? You never pay for gas." I'm sure the lady was wondering what that was about. I then had to explain that my debit card was like using cash. I was still paying for it, just with a card instead. Saige, you crack me up! :)
I know that most of my posts are about Saige, but the boys are just to cool to spend time with their mother. And the only pictures I can manage to get most of the time is the back of their heads. Maybe tomorrow I will post some pictures of them sleeping. :)

I have been trying my crafty-ness at making hair bows. Saige is getting to the point where she doesn't HATE me combing her hair and she loves to have it in a ponytail. Well, I thought it would be so cute to have a bow to put at the top of the ponytail. So, I got out the ribbon I had just to experiment. I think they turned out OK. I am doing her hair this morning and I said "Oh, this pink princess bow would look so cute" and she said "I don't like princesses." I said "Since when?" She says "since I was like 6." She just turned 7 about a week ago!! Then I said "I really think this one is cute." she said "Well, I don't, so just X it out!"
Girls these days grow up so fast. She is getting to where she doesn't like baby dolls and all the "little girl" things. Thanks Hannah Montana, Icarly, and Zoey!
We had all the windows upstairs open last night and so it was nice this morning in the house. Saige comes down wearing her thick winter jacket. She actually wore it to school today. I'm sure her teacher is going to think I am strange sending her to school in a jacket like that. It wasn't me!! I tried to talk her out of it, well anyone who knows Saige knows that once she has her mind made up, there is no changing it.

Over Labor Day weekend Jason and I took Daniel and Saige up to Williams for the weekend. They had a steam engine train there that weekend. We decided that we would take the kids on the train and I'm so glad we did. They had a blast.
We could walk around the train while on the ride, and when you walked to the front and looked down, you could see the ground moving very quickly below. I did not stay there to long. The train ran on water and recycled vegetable oil. This is the house in Williams that my family always hears us talk about. This house has been in Jason's family for a long time and it sure is a nice get-away place in the heat of the summer. The kids absolutely love Williams. Me too!
