I told Marni and M'Liss this story and they said "You've got to blog that!" So, since I haven't posted in a while, I figured I would. Saige and Daniel and I went shopping so they could buy gifts for everyone. When Saige was wrapping hers she wrote on each of the gifts all by herself. She sounded out all the words and when I read them I had to laugh. On Daniels it said "To Daniel - Love Saige". Then on Colin's she wrote "To Colin - Like Saige". Then on Tyler's she wrote "To Tyler - Hate Saige". She didn't want to put love on Tyler's and Colin's gifts cause they often make her mad, and you can tell who bugs her the most. It was so funny.

Safeway had a pretty good deal on some of their cereal, so I went there with my coupons to get some. On 4 of the boxes of cereal was a peel-off coupon for $1.00 off a bag of any brand marshmallows and on one box there was a $1.00 off coupon for Cheez-its. So I got 10 boxes of cereal, 4 bags of marshmallows, a box of Cheez-it's, and a package of cookie dough for about $12.00! I had a coupon for 9 of the boxes of cereal, but had to purchase 1 more to make it so I got the $5.00 deal Safeway had. I was WAY excited and even though my boys laughed at me for taking pictures, I just had to share!

My favorite ornaments

My favorite ornaments are the ones the kids have made when they are little. In fact our tree this year is just homemade ornaments, and a few that were Dallas Cowboys and Harley ones that were given to Jason as gifts.
Daniel was 3 years old.
Saige was 1 year old.
This was made from Daniels hands and feet when he was 2 years old. Boy he has grown.
These are Tylers he made in elementary school.
Colin was 3 and Tyler was 5 - Gotta love those sweet faces. Too bad they don't stay that sweet. Attitudes sure have changed!!
Colin

I told Marni that I would post a picture of our version of the reindeer hats. I just love the nose!

I WON

Thank you Jodie for telling me about the giveaway. I won these wonderful headbands from Leah at http://blog.hestermania.com/! Saige will be getting them for Christmas and finally she might wear her hair back. These are so cute and I am excited to get them. I can't believe I won, I never win anything!

Tyler and Daniel's COOL TRICK

Just press play! I actually figured out the

video thing. I was WAY excited!! That means

that you will probably be seeing alot more videos. :)

I found this online and thought it was such a cute way to countdown until Christmas. Daniel started at the end so that he can tell how many days are left, and Saige is just excited to fill up all the spaces. I can't believe how fast Christmas came around this year!!

I love the foot in the background. She loves to have her picture taken.

Yesterday the kids came in saying that there was a bird in the clubhouse. So when I went out and checked sure enough it was there just looking at us, not trying to move or escape. So I grabbed a bucket and caught the thing, put a lid on it so that there was air, but it could not escape because I thought it was wounded. Looked up on the internet and found that it was a mourning dove. They are game birds or can be kept as pets. I didn't want to keep it, but wasn't sure what to do with it. When Jason and the boys got home, you can imagine being a hunter what Jason said he wanted to do. Colin decided to take the bucket into the yard and take the lid off, and that stupid bird flew off! Why did it let me catch it and spend the day in the bucket and give me stress? Crazy bird...it was exciting for the kids if nothing else.
We made these cute little turkeys. I had brought the pine cones home with us from camping for starting our fires in the fire pit, but they make better turkeys than fire starters.

FINALLY they called off the bet

BEFORE OF TYLER-
he had massive amounts of hair and it was all curly.

This is the only picture I have of Colin.

He will not let me take pictures, so there is no before and after of him. Dang it!

Tyler's wad

AFTER

Tyler and Colin had a bet going who could go the longest without cutting their hair. They actually weren't sold on giving the bet up, but with much persuading they finally gave in.

This movie was FANTASTIC! We were ready to go right back in and see it again. I thought that Edward and Bella were perfect for the parts. It is a two hour movie, but you definitely don't feel like you've been there that long. I didn't want it to end! This is one movie I don't think I would ever get to much of. Jason said he couldn't wait until this stupid movie was over so he didn't have to hear about it anymore. Can you believe he called it stupid? Obviously he hasn't read the books! And now, we can all look forward to New Moon! WOO-HOO - Hooray!!! So girls, when are we going again? :)

Today is the day!

We made these turkey hats today. Poor Eva has turkey feet in her face.

I had a $10.00 off coupon from Office Max and they had some great deals last week. After all was done I got all my things for $1.09! I love when it works out that way. I added up everything I got at regular price and it was $32.52 worth of stuff I got for just over a buck!

NASCAR

Bringing out the #99 car and getting it ready.
Next year Carl will have a different car. He is not being sponsored by Office Depot next year but only by Aflac. Tony Stewart (YUCK) will be going from Home Depot to Office Depot next year.

The lady (don't know her name, but Jason would) from the sports channel was doing the news while we were standing there.

These are the guys who work with Carl. They have actually touch and talk to him!! It is amazing how fast they can change 4 tires, gas up, clean the windshield and whatever else they do in about 12 seconds!! It's fun to see.
Here is the pit crew at work.
The cars were racing and then next thing they had red flagged for sprinkles. The cars were stopped for about 20 minutes waiting for the sprinkles to stop and then drying off the track.
This is Saige's car. She LOVES Kyle Busch! When we watch the races on TV she will yell "Go Kyle Busch, go Kyle Busch". She likes his pink M&M car too. They had his showcar at Fry's by our house and she got to see it and get a picture of Kyle, and now all she talks about is getting his autograph. I found out that you can mail them things and they will sign it and mail it back. That is probably the only way she will ever get it signed.
This is Clint Bowyer's car. Jason likes this #07 car. We found out that next year Clint Bowyer will be driving the #33 Cheerios car, so Jason will have to get some new gear.
